LifeSong Vacation Bible School – Deep!

Vacation Bible School on the Move

LifeSong Church, a new community of believers located in Reeds Spring, is implementing a new concept for Vacation Bible School. Instead of children coming to the church for VBS, LifeSong is taking VBS out into the community from July 14th to 16th 6:15pm – 8:00pm

LifeSong has developed two teams of volunteers to lead the VBS program, Deep!, in two remote locations. These locations include Barrington Oaks subdivision near the Reeds Spring Elementary School and Oak Creek Park down Talking Rocks Road. These volunteers will lead in music, teaching, crafts, games and food.

Unique to this concept of remote locations is incorporating a meal before the VBS activities. Each night at 6:15pm, LifeSong will serve a simple dinner free to all whether participating in the VBS program or not.

After enjoying a delicious meal together, kids in Kindergarten up to the 6th grade are invited to sing along, make crafts and have tons of fun playing water games.  Anthony Jones, the Children’s Pastor at LifeSong Church says, “It will be awesome! Bring your friends.”

Vacation Bible School

(Bolivar, MO)—Wellspring Baptist Fellowship, located at 2110 East Spring Place in Bolivar, will host its annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) July 13-17, from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

Wellspring invites area children ages three years of age (as of January 1, 2009) through those who have just completed the fifth grade, to join “Crocodile Dock: Where Fearless Kids Shine God’s Light.”

The Crocodile Dock program is an exciting, fun-filled, Bible-based program that kids will love. Each day children will sing dynamic worship songs, experience Bible adventures, play teamwork-building games, eat wacky snacks, participate in the Daily Challenge that encourages them to apply Bible truths to everyday life, meet Chadder Chipmunk via video and create crafts.

Each day concludes with the Firefly Finale—a celebration that gets all participants involved in living what they’ve learned. Children also will have the opportunity to participate in local mission projects.

Kids jump into bayou fun at Crocodile Dock where they participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into yummy treats, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s Word, and create Bible Point crafts they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings.
