Destiny World Outreach in Republic (526 E Harrison) is having an event called “Servolution” (www.dwochurch.tv). We’ll be giving out 8,000 lbs of food to families, free haircuts to kids, free manicures for the ladies, free car washes, and free hamburgers and hot dogs. There will be plenty of family-friendly events such as inflatables, face painting, craft stations, and several members of the Republic Fire and Police Department, Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol will also be there to showcase their cars and trucks. Louie from the Springfield Cardinals will also be there and they have donated 500 tickets to be given away. The event is April 3,2010  from 10a-2p; the finale is an Easter egg hunt at 2p. We’re hoping to reach as many people in the community as possible. Much of this was possible thru the grace and kindness of God – we just want to be able to share it.

One of the nation’s longest running Easter events, The Crucifixion and The Resurrection, is set for April 3rd and 4th at Meramec Caverns located just off I-44 at exit 230.  Presented by the Lester Family from St. Louis, along with a cast of 50 people, this event is something the whole family can enjoy.

Performance times are 6pm Saturday, April 3, 2010 and 6:30pm Sunday, April 4, 2010, and will be held inside the caves natural ballroom which has seating for 2,000 people.

Easter Sunrise Celebration

This is the 5th annual Sunrise Service hosted by several Lebanon area Churches.  The event will be held inside the Cowan Civic Center Theatre in Lebanon.  Doors open at 6:30am and the service begins at 7am Easter Sunday morning.  The service will include exciting praise & worship and a message from a local Pastor about the Resurrection.
