We have a group coming into our church on Sunday evening January 10.    The group name is Testify.  You can find out more about them at http://www.testify.org They are a progressive southern gospel group…some songs jump to the contemporary side, and they compare themselves to the style of Phillips, Craig and Dean or Avalon.  The concert is at 6:00pm at North Nixa Baptist Church.  We are located at 1730 N. Local and International Artists Present “The Miracle of Christmas” on Friday Evening,

December 18, in Hammons Hall

At 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 18, The Messiah Project will perform the beloved Christmas opera, “Amahl and the Night Visitors.” Children and adults alike will not want to miss this event, which will be held in Springfield’s Juanita K. Hammons Hall. Local musicians will be joined by the Sinphonia Chamber Orchestra of Krakow, Poland, and the evening will end with a rousing performance of music from Handel’s Messiah. Celebrating faith through the fine arts, The Messiah Project will be joined on stage by numerous other local artists, making the December 18 event Springfield’s holiday extravaganza of the year. Tickets can be purchased through the Hammons Hall box office.
