The Salvation Army will serve a community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 26, from 11:30 am to 1pm at the Harbor House in Gary Gibson Friendship Hall located at 636 N Boonville. The Willard – Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church 800 AB Highway in Willard, will host its annual Christmas Bazaar Saturday, November 14 from 9am to 2pm, with lunch served from 11am to 1pm.
A variety of hand -made gifts, Christmas decorations and home-made baked goods, jams,and candies will be featured, as well as Books-Are-Fun. Tickets will be sold for a specail Bazaar Sampler Basket containing a hand-made afghan and other bazaar treats.

The sale benefits the McCarter Family in memory of Abreanna McCarter, one of the three Willard High School students who lost their lives in an automobile accident on October 8th. If you would like to make a donation for the sale please drop off items on Friday, Nov 6th from noon – 6pm or Saturday, Nov 7th from 8 – noon. Cash donations for the McCarter Family can be made at and Commerce Bank.
