Revival with youth kickoff

Sat. Oct. 3 we will kick off our revival with a youth fellowship day beginning at 11am and ending around 7pm. Sunday will be youth sunday with the youth of Grandview leading classes and morning song service. Our revival evangelist is Bro. Josh Cason.
Revival will begin Saturday October 3 and end when God’s work is done.

Friends of the Library, Christian County Semi-Annual Book Sale Starts on April 10th at 7pm with Friends Night. (a members sale only. Memberships can be purchased that evening for only $5 per family, and new members will then be admitted to the sale.) There will be a drawing on Saturday, April 11th for baskets filled with a book and other goodies fr the spring season, one for a child and one for an adult. Baskets are now on display at the library. Half price books on Thursday and Friday, April 16 & 17th. Last day of sale, Saturday, April 18th is bag day. All books that can fit into a bag will be only $2.

Ozarks Teen Challenge (OTC) will host a cross service at its Branson West campus on Easter Sunday, April 12. During the service, the program’s 14 students will, as a group, carry a 12-foot cross into the Ozark hills. Once they reach the peak, students will each be given two nails – one which they will nail to the cross, symbolizing the death of their old life, and the other they will keep representing their new life in Christ. >
OTC Executive Director Jake Lynch says that he looks forward to making the service an annual Easter tradition.
“After the service, we will plant the cross up in the hills and return to that same spot every year with a new cross,” said Lynch. “It will be amazing to see God move in the lives of these boys as they experience a small measure of what Christ did as he made his way to Calvary.”
The service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on OTC’s campus at 512 Purist Lane in Branson West, and the public is invited to attend. Two Fat Daddy’s of Branson West will be providing lunch immediately following the service and reservations are required. Please call the office at (417) 272-3784 for reservations or directions.
