Springfield Public Schools’ Business Associated Student Education (BASE) Program will host its fifth annual Transition Fair from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at St. John’s Cancer Center, 2055 S. Fremont Ave.
The event is open to the public and designed for families of children with special needs. About 30 community agencies will share information about their programs and services. Participants will include The Springfield Regional Office, Social Security Administration, Southwest Center for Independent Living, Community Employment, Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) of the Ozarks, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and Sporting Chance.
