Springfield Regional Arts Council is now accepting entries for the 3rd Annual Kite Design Contest open for children in kindergarten through 5th grades.
Awards will be given in three grade categories: kindergarten thru 1st grade, 2nd thru 3rd, and 4th thru 5th grade. Each grade category will have four awards including Best of Show, Most Artistic, Most Japanese and Most Humorous. Any media (crayon, marker, paint, collage) is welcome.
All entries must be postmarked or dropped off by March 6, 2009 to:

All winners will be announced and displayed at the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival at the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden (2400 South Scenic) on Saturday March 28.
